About Whitney

I've taught reading, math, and art the last 10 years. I work with kids ages 2-6 but also experience with infants and middle schoolers. I am filled up Monday-Friday 10-4 p.m. I'm available evening or weekends or holidays when schools are closed. Start at 26/hr. I also provide behavior help. I am available FEBRUARY break! My focus is humor, positivity, hands-on learning, art, outdoor/nature, exploring playgrounds and community spaces, child safety, modeling positive behavior, teaching self-regulation and guiding children to be caring people. I foster creativity and comfort. I don't show negative emotions, I talk with children when they struggle and find out what is going on. After all, it's not as easy as it looks to be a kid! I'm 34, work out, crafting, healthy cooking. I am certified children's yoga instructor. I love kids and I believe that is pretty apparent when I work with/teach kiddos. I'm flexible, reliable and try to accommodate all.
