About Whitney

Hello! My name is Whitney I love being a part of a child's journey in exploring and discovering their new world! I enjoy their enthusiasm, curiosity, and getting to know their cute, unique personalities. Some of my childcare skills include: coming up with fun, creative activities that keep children engaged and help them develop age-appropriate skills; keeping a calm demeanor and maintaining patience in stressful situations; creating a nice environment where kids can feel comfortable and loved; and guiding them properly to solve problems. I have an ELED degree and taught Kindergarten/Preschool for 2 years. Before, I'd worked at a daycare, a center for people with disabilities, and been a nanny to several families. I am looking for a job that will allow me to nanny from my own home so that I can also watch my 2-year-old and 7-month-old boys. Both are wonderful and would love a playmate!
