About Whitney

Hello! My name is Whitney. I have been helping taking care of kiddos for about 8 years now. I started off baby sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. When I was 17, I began spending more time with kids at my church in kids and in youth. When I was 18, I began working for the YMCA Before and After School Program. I was a site lead at Pershing Middle School. I continued to work at the YMCA at different schools around Springfield for two years. I have lead church camps, lead worship, and discipled at a church for 6 years now. For a year I have worked at a pediatric behavioral hospital. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I have such a big heart and passion for kids. I have a dream to foster kids one day.
