About Whitney

I earned a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship/management from Cal State San Marcos. I used to own a business breeding reptiles and amphibians for the pet trade, specializing in poison arrow frogs. I am a godmother to 10 children, which is such a honor and I take that role seriously. I have been a nanny for multiple families for about 10 years now. I am new to care. com because I've always worked off of referrals. I cater to the parenting style of the families I've worked for and address the individual child's needs. Games, outdoor activities, reading, art projects and fostering education are my specialties. I prefer to be more interactive and limit electronics. I am open to doing light house cleaning and meal preparation. Playdates, educational or athletic trips are my favorites (zoos, discovery cube, beach days, library, swimming, parks, aquarium, etc.).
