About Whitney

I am a former teacher (13 years, Middle School Language Arts). I also have three grown children ages 23, 20 and 18. The 23-year-old is a Mitchell College graduate, the 20-year-old is presently attending Emmanuel College and the 18-year-old will be attending Eastern Connecticut State University this fall. I am looking to find some part time work, possibly before and after school hours. I can do before-school care in my home and transport child/children to school along with picking child/children up from school and/or doing some after-school care in my home. I am also available for some of those dreaded snow days and early-dismissal days (I presently work most Tuesdays and Wednesdays). School vacations would have to be discussed, and I am not available during summer breaks. I have had years of experience working with children and raising my own awesome kids! I enjoy being outdoors, reading, walking, exercising, cooking and exploring new challenges.
