About Whitney

I like working with children because they are the next generation and it is an honor to be asked to help raise them! My work approach to nannying is simple and balanced: engaging them on both a creative level (arts n crafts/reading) and physical level (allowing for ample play time, getting their wiggles out) while nourishing them with proper nutrition and rest. Safety first, fun second! I grew up in Breckenridge and was a ski racer at one point! I started babysitting in my mid-teens and sporadically through my early 20s. To support my art career, I started freelancing as a private yacht chef/stewardess for families starting in 2012. I decided to get back into childcare just this winter because it's something I was always really good at: engaging with kids! Plus, fun fact: I am a 17x published children's book author, so we'll have plenty of books to read!
