I am a substitute teacher in Maryland, who has also worked as a paraeducator for multiple years. I do not have a completed bachelors degree, and recently moved to California. I am looking for some work as I finish my last year of college. I have 7+ years of experience working with children. I'd describe my personality as patient, prepared, and quick-thinking. I like working with kids because they are kind, and have strong imaginations. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, possibly math tutoring or working with the child to teach some sort of skill. I started working with kids when I was 15, as a math tutor. Then I worked as a paraeducator for 3 years and a substitute teacher for one year. My last job was a 5 month job as a kindergarten teacher. I worked with another teacher as well. In my spare time, I like to hike, take care of pets, and up-cycle clothes. One thing you should know about me is I have a lot of experience with tutoring math, and can do up to Calculus AB.
