Warm, caring, smart. I like caring for seniors because I appreciate their lived experience, dignity, and wisdom. I'm looking for a job where I can make a difference in someone's life, bringing care, conversation, and humor into each day. I started caring for seniors when my mother began to experience a cognitive decline. I was her primary care companion through numerous major medical crises and increasing dementia for five years. I now manage medical care for my 91-year-old father who lives in another state. My daily goal is to support him in finding autonomy and meaning in every day life. In my spare time, I love visiting art museums, seeing movies and plays, and hearing live music. Gathering with friends and my family brings me joy. One thing you should know about me is that I played flute in the Minnesota Orchestra for 30 years. My skills include navigating healthcare and medications, organizing and managing households, and spending quality time listening.
