I've taken care of a quadriplegic. Some of the things I did for him was bathing. Going to the bathroom. Light house keeping. Getting him up now ready in the mornings n putting him to bed at night. I also took care of his meals. A older gentleman who suffered from MS. I started out helping with bathing n meals n light housekeeping n later switched to staying with him at night. Getting him his dinner n getting ready for bed. Any bathroom needs. Then getting him up n ready for the day with breakfast. I helped with the care of a lady who had dementia. I would come in n stay with her while she was along n to just spend time with her n help her in anything she needed. My last client had PPA. I started out just spending time with him n making sure he ate. As the PPA progressed, I stayed him anytime he was home alone. Preparing his meals. Tending to bathroom needs. Making sure he was safe as he liked to wander. Handling any bathroom needs. Bathing if needed.
