Hello, My name is Wendy. I have more than 30 years of watching/raising children. In the last 10 years, I have been with 4 families. I am fluent in Spanish and English. Prior to taking care of children I was a medical assistant. I have a West-Indies accent so when we speak or meet I don't want it to catch you off guard. I enjoy bringing structure and stability into children's lives whether it be a walk to the park, or an afternoon craft. I think it is important to keep the child's mind engaged. I prefer to limit media usage and let the parents decide how much screen time is appropriate. I have experience with twin girls and watched them grow from infants until they were both walking in separate directions. I can prepare baby food, help with potty training, naps, as well as getting children used to a routine. My hobbies are cooking, baking, and I recently discovered Pinterest. I can provide my own transportation. Unfortunately, I am allergic to dogs and cats. My son is now grown and I couldn't be more proud of his accomplishments.

I am writing this review for Wendy, she has been with our family since my son was 3 months old and he’s now 2 years old and headed off to school. Our child is going to miss her so much and all the love and care she has shown him each and everyday. Being a first time mom and learning the ropes, she has been extremely helpful in showing me what to do in each age phase. My son is extremely active and she is very patient with him, which I so appreciate and takes him to the park and for walks, and in our yard to get our energy out. Wendy has also helped him learn Spanish and reads books with him. Her attention to detail with him has been so nice down to even having his own separate towel to wash his hands. My husband doesn’t have the easiest personality, but she has not been deterred and has worked with us, which I do appreciate. We will greatly miss her and look forward to her going to another family that needs her loving care for their little one.
