About Wendy

I'd describe my personality as friendly, patient, and kind. I like caring for seniors because they deserve to be treated with kindness and dignity. I also enjoy hearing their life stories! After caring for my own parents, I realize how important it is to have another trustworthy caregiver come alongside you to provide extra help and respite as needed. I'm looking for a job where I can help improve the quality of life for both the senior adult and their primary caregiver(s). I'd love to provide companionship, take care of easy care needs, provide transportation for errands, and provide light housekeeping/meal prep as needed. I started caring for seniors in 2020 when my father was diagnosed with cancer. Since then I've been the main family member responsible for my mother who has short-term memory loss. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, enjoy date nights with my husband and find new dog friendly hiking spots to take my dog.
