As a grandmother I cared for two of my grandsons full time for a year and a half. I have been employed professionally in the child care field since Feb of 2020. I have over 20 years experience taking care of my children as well as others. Love to read and do craft projects that are age appropriate. I love to encourage the imagination of children. I love having fun with children, but also know they need structure and boundaries. Communication is key for everything. That includes listening and understanding. Guidance and support for the children will help them grow. At the same time if you listen and watch they will teach you and help you to grow.

Wendy has been with us for over a year and is highly recommended. She is extremely reliable and flexible with my crazy work hours and activities the kids are participating in during the day while she is with us. She follows through with directions, whether it's with light house keeping, meals for the kids, changes in nap and eating schedules, or recommendations with potty training or play. Wendy also occasionally brings age appropriate crafts, toys and activities over to our house for my 2 and 4 year old to do with her. She has a wonderful imagination, is full of creativity and genuinely enjoys being with my boys. She will be missed when the boys go off to school in the fall!
