About Wendy

Hi, my name is Wendy and children have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I myself am the middle of six children, the youngest of whom are twin girls. As a young teenager, I frequently baby-sat for friends and family. For seven years, I worked as an Emergency Substitute Teacher on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Az. I am familiar with students of all ages K-12. During that time, I also worked as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at the local Natatorium. I have also worked at my local school district as an Instructional Aide Assistant. I worked one on one with special needs students. ( I am CPR/First Aid certified)For the past 3 years I have worked as a Nanny for two families in NC caring for infant/toddler aged children. Child care is something I not only enjoy but also feel is extremely important in today's society. I take pride in providing a safe environment and being a nurturing, compassionate and positive role model. I feel that child care is not only important for ensuring the welfare of the child but also providing peace of mind for dedicated parents. I am an honest, trustworthy and dedicated child care provider. I have deep respect for myself and others and display a mild non-confrontational personality that promotes peace in my work environment.
