Hi, my name is Wendy, but I go by my middle name, Shaye. Over the last four years, I have been supporting adults with special needs in achieving independent and rewarding lives. Within their homes, I provide support with tasks like cooking, cleaning, bill management and personal hygiene. Additionally, I accompany them for various community activities, such as volunteering, medical appointments, gym sessions and shopping. I hold certifications in first aid, CPR and mental health first aid, along with a Level 2 background check. Diabetes management is an area of particular interest to me, and I can assist with meal planning and carb counting. My experience ranges from caring for special needs children to attending to the care of the elderly their homes.
