About Wendy

Hi! My name is Wendy. I am interested in helping a family with before or after school or weekend care. I am an occupational therapist in a school department and work 8:40 to 3:30 Mon through Fri. I am a 59-year-old mom who has raised 2 intelligent, funny, caring and well rounded daughters. My girls are 30 and 26. I am nurturing, caring, soft spoken, understanding and responsible. I have nannied for families in the past and was with those families from the time the kids were infants until the kiddos grew up and I was no longer needed as a care giver. I am still in touch with these families as we have become friends. I'm happy to play, sing, dance, learn and be creative with arts and crafts . I also understand the importance of "down time" and am happy to take a walk or read with your child. I have my own car, am a non smoker and have 3 rescue dogs of my own.
