I am a retired Registered Nurse. I've been working as a caregiver for many years and enjoy helping seniors. I am very experienced working with clients with Dementia and Alzheimer's and I am CPR certified. I can start first thing in the morning. I can assist with medications, prepare meals, help with bathing and do light housekeeping. After conducting daily passive exercises, we can start the day doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, and go for walks. I'm able to drive to doctor appointments and do various errands such as going to the supermarket. I like to schedule weekly communication with my client's family members to update loved ones regarding my clients status. I truly care about developing a loving relationship with all my clients. It is a responsibility that I take very seriously. I am thrilled I can make a difference and help improve someone's life.

Wendy cared for my parents for 2 years when my parents were in FL. Last winter-2023,to May of 24 and the year before. She took amazing care, above and beyond most people ever have done before. Last year my dad was 101...she not only cooked, she showered, she took my mom and dad for walks every day, she play memory games, drove them to all Dr's appts, PT and continued PT at home as asked. She communicated with me all the time as I am in CT which was so appreciated, Even with problems with certain family members, Wendy stood her ground, she acted ALWAYS in the best interest in keeping my parents safe and sound. Not only is she an amazing caretaker she has the perfect skills as she is a retired RN. I could not ask for anything more, except I wish my parents were strong enough to enjoy their home I Florida so Wendy could still care for them. We miss her tremendously and she continues to call, my dad is now 102...she sends bday cards...SHE is a gift. I highly recommend her as an honest, thoughtful, kind, caring wonderful caretaker.
