As a physician, I see many elderly patients with care takers. She was a step above anyone. The patient was always well taken care of. Always dressed well and groomed. She knew his medical conditions and understood what medications he was taking. She knew how to solve issues and when to call for help. She genuinely cared for him as she would a family member.
