Knowing that I put a smile on someone's face by simply having a conversation with them or reminding them it's ok to be afraid because they have a complete stranger assisting them with showers and or dressing and taking that fear away from them by just listening to my kind words. I believe working with seniors for so long has helped me more than it has helped them as I have learned so much about life through them. To an extent, they have brought more joy into my life. I truly believe it is a population that's forgotten the most, yet the one needing us the most.
