But as for my specific experience regarding working with people with special needs, I have worked with a child with ASD and an additional client with ADHD and another child with ASD for about 26 months minus time off from the CoViD quarantine (~3 months) as a Personal Care Assistant. When the client(s) were unavailable, I worked with the other elementary school students with special needs. Currently, I have been working mostly with elementary-aged students with special needs in the District. I am also in the process of becoming a Registered Behavior Technician with the BACB.
