About Wakara

I have over seven years of professional experience in childcare working with a variety of different ages. I have three years of experience teaching after school art classes to elementary school kids, four years of pre-school experience from infant to pre-k. I was an assistant Pre-K teacher for two years, and a lead infant teacher for two. I have experience in both traditional Pre-School settings, and with Waldorf and Montessori pre-school settings. I love collaborating with parents to ensure their child gets the most optimal care that fits both the needs of the parents and the kiddos. I love singing songs with children, playing instruments, telling stories and reading books, playing games, and going on park adventures. I am informed in promoting developmental milestones, and love to continuously expand my knowledge on early childhood education strategies and development. I am currently in school for Psychology, and am looking for a part time position.
