About Wajiha

Hi! I work at a doggy daycare and I also volunteer at an animal shelter. I'm currently studying to become a veterinarian so I do prefer pet care first. I absolutely love animals; they are my entire life and bring a spark of joy in a way other things can't, so I believe they deserve the same care and love in return. I have two cats of my own and they are very spoiled by my entire family, one of whom I bring on my travels with me, including housing away near my university. In addition to volunteering and professional job experience, I also have hands-on experience working with all sorts of animals for my classes at UConn, including livestock and cold-blooded animals. I am skilled in recognizing animals' needs and identifying signs of good/bad health, training, and handling as a plus to considering me for hire!
