About Vivian

Hello, my name is Vivian. I'm a 21-year-old college student who is pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy. I am very passionate about child development and enjoy spending time with them. My career goal is to one day work with children through the Occupational Therapy field. I hope to continue to learn hands-on as well as give back my experience to children in my community. I currently reside in upper Manhattan. I am bilingual in Spanish, fluent both orally and written. As a college student my schedule is flexible, allowing me the time to do what I enjoy most which is working with children. With over 7 years of previous experience in working with children ages 1 year - 15 years old, I'm highly experienced and able to work well in any situation. I've worked with several families and had the pleasure of working with one for several years. I had the pleasure of meeting a young boy at about one. I worked with this family at least three times per week until he was 4 years old and moved to NJ. Although they have moved, I still assist when needed and do not mind traveling to care for him. I am proud to say that he is doing great in school, is able to read and write a few words. While under my care, he learned many songs and was potty trained. I am nurturing, caring, sweet and very outgoing. I enjoy reading and arts & crafts. Some of my favorite hobbies include, biking, swimming, long walks, visiting museums and reading. I enjoy taking children to the library and the museum, I enjoy the fact that they are so curious and always happy to learn more. When babysitting, I'm always sure to include a word for the day and provide the children with the meaning of such word and how it can be used in various sentences. While your children are under my care, you can ensure that they will be provided with healthy meals and will be fully engaged in various activities, such as arts and crafts, play time, and play dates. I will also be able to run errands if needed. I look forward to possibly hearing from you soon and the possibility of working with you and your little ones.
