About Vivian

I am the oldest of 6 kids, so childcare is in my blood! I started babysitting my siblings at age 9. At 12, I became a part-time nanny to my neighbors during the summers. During the school year, I continued to babysit my siblings and surrounding families' children on the weekends. In college, I nannied again, this time for a family of 4 kids, including their 9mo baby, in addition to their family pets. I love working with children because I love their curiosity and zest for life. My formal education is in documentary filmmaking, so I share this wide-eyed curiosity and love of life. My goal is to encourage learning opportunities alongside children, be it through excursions to a museum or park, or at home, through reading and discussion. I know how overwhelming keeping a home can be, and I want to alleviate that stress as much as possible. When not occupied with kids -- which will always be my priority -- I am proactive in maintaining cleanliness and order around the house.
