About Vivian

If I had to describe my personality in 3 words, I would first say truthful. Honesty has always mattered to me since I was a kid. I also am an empathetic person who enjoys listening to others. Lastly, I would say I am dedicated - I take my commitments very seriously! I like working with kids because I think the joy and creativity they bring to the world is so inspiring. I am currently in grad school for English, so I love getting to engage with kids to see how to become a better teacher and listener. I began working with kids when I was in middle school, helping my mom with after school programs. In high school, I began babysitting a friend's little brother. He was a sporty kid, so we had lots of fun playing football, basketball, etc. During my college years, I babysat a sweet baby boy, and we spent most of our time reading books together and playing outside. In my spare time, I like to go hiking and rock climbing with my husband. I also enjoy playing lots of board games!
