Hello there! My name is Vivian. I have recently completed my master's degree program, and before I make the big leap into the professional world, I am looking to fill my hours with some of my favorite jobs: private tutoring and light childcare. I have multiple years of experience tutoring, having worked with children of all ages in a variety of subjects, and I offer specialized help in French, writing skills, and college admissions. I aim to change perspectives on challenging schoolwork and bolster a child's study habit toolkit to build confidence and independence in learning as they grow! I also have experience in full time nannying and childcare (both professionally and by virtue of growing up with a classically large Southern family!) and am open to helping families with transport, babysitting, or running errands. Vivian worked with one of our kids after school several days a week for the majority of the school year. We called her a “homework buddy,” but she did much more than that. My kiddo has ADHD and auditory processing disorder, so he struggles with knowing what to do, staying organized, completing work, etc. Helping him with homework felt like my second job, making evenings so incredibly stressful. Vivian not only took much of the workload off of me, but she taught him how to study, how to organize notes, etc. His grades improved significantly, and our time at home was so much more relaxed and enjoyable with each other. She was always on time and very conscientious about sending messages to keep him on track over the weekend and such. She was an absolute angel for our family, and I cannot recommend her highly enough!
