About Virginia
I've been so blessed to spend the past three years tutoring elementary and middle school students in math. There's nothing quite like seeing a child's face light up when they finally grasp a tricky concept. I love watching my students grow and develop a confidence in math that will serve them well throughout their lives. Math isn't my only passion, though - I'm also a science enthusiast and enjoy helping students explore the wonders of the natural world. As I work towards becoming a certified teacher, I'm constantly looking for new ways to make learning fun, interactive, and meaningful for my students.
