I cared for a Parkinson's patient and her spouse (5 years), bathing, dressing, hair/makeup, meal prep, laundry, housekeeping, light yard care/maintenance. She was unable to write so I handled her correspondence i. e. Special occasion cards and letters. I monitored her medications and requested refills as needed. I handled grocery shopping for her, and when she felt able, I would take her shopping. I've cared for a couple in their 90s for 8 years, sadly she passed away in 2018. He was still going strong and recently decided to move in with his son, 2023. He passed away in 2024. I provided companionship, served as driver, housekeeper, chef, personal trainer, helped with bathing when necessary, lawn person, medication prompting and secretary.
