Hello, my name is Virginia. I am a mom to a pre-teen, a teenage daughter, and a dog. I earned a BA in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish in 2005, from CSUDH. I currently work part time with the Santa Monica Malibu School District as a Bilingual Instructional Assistant (TA) at Edison Language Academy. I also have a long history of tutoring/mentoring all subject K - 12th grade. I started tutoring in 1998 at the Virginia Avenue Park/ Thelma Terry center in Santa Monica, since then I have worked tutoring family and I worked for the Emily Shane Foundation at John Adams Middle School in Santa Monica. I generally tutor K-12 subjects and I have gained experience in the new Common Core academic standards.
