Hello, my name is Virginia. I am a mom to two college students and a maltese - poodle 10 year dog. I have a BA in Psychology, with minor in Spanish that I obtained from CSUDH in 2005. I have gained a lot of experience working with children and families through the L. A County Probation Dept., DCFS and Department of Memtal Health. Including, working with children on the Autism spectrum, teaching ABA methods. I've taught parenting through the national based Parent As Teacher's program (PAT) and I last worked at Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District as a (Bilingual) Instructional Assistant and Substitute Teacher. I now am working as a 5th grade Dual Language Teacher with LAUSD. I have a long history of tutoring/mentoring all subject K - 12th grade. As you can tell, I am very passionate about working with babies, children and youth of all ages and backgrounds because they are our future. I especially look forward to working with you and your little one(s) one day!

Virginia always shows up with good energy and is ready to play with my toddler. She brings activities and toys and my daughter likes to tell me about the funny things Virginia says and does ;) I love that they speak Spanish with each other, too!
