About Violet

Hi I'm Violet. I am a mother of three children, all adults now. In addition to raising three kids of my own, I have worked in Special Education for 11 years. I have worked with kids of all ages, even young adults. I am patient kind but firm. Kids and pets usually like me and I really try to make children feel seen and heard. I am looking for consistent evening work and overnight. I'd describe my personality as a bit silly. Kids like that I'm not afraid to be a bit goofy. I like working with kids because kids are awesome. No day is ever the same. I'm looking for a job where there is mutual respect and good communication. I started working with kids in September 2013. I began working at a school for kids with disabilities. In my spare time, I like to I'm a homebody. Home is my happy place. One thing you should know about me is "You can count on me." My skills include experience with children with disabilities, experience with toileting and experience dealing with tantrums.
