Hi, I have more than 10yrs of experience as a carer. I enjoy listening to my clients especially the elderly clients share their experiences and stories. I am a very patience person and am always happy to work at my clients pace, following their leads. I cared for my 95yrs old grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer and dementia before she passed away from a stroke. I cared for my father who was on hospice, and had cared for clients who were recovering from major surgeries and other physical illnesses. I've later cared for a 6yrs autistic child for a few years. My duties were medication management, feeding, bathing, meal prep, light housework, physical therapy, run errands: appointments and shopping. I'm CPR and home aide certified. I have worked on a hourly, overnight and live-in type of schedule. I enjoy cooking so love trying out new recipes. I also enjoy hiking with my dog. Wow… she is great! I needed someone with warmth, who was dependable and confident. She’s all of that and so much more! From the first moment we met Vika, my husband and I knew she was a perfect fit. Besides completing each task needed with complete professionalism, she has a beautiful sincerity about her. Vika truly takes pride in her work. While I was away for a few days, I called my husband, asking him how he was doing and his response… ‘it’s like you never left’. Needless to say, my husband and I were both thrilled and will most certainly hire her again and again!!
