About Vidya

Hi, I'm Vidya. I hold a degree in Electronics Engineering and am a Sun-Certified Java Programmer. I specialize in enhancing students' learning of HN Math (Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry), HN Science (Physics), SAT Math, ACT, and computer courses (Java, Databases). I consistently improve tutees' understanding, performance, and grades. I help students with PSAT and SAT Prep, identify and fill learning gaps, leading to much higher scores. Students I've tutored in AP CSA courses scored 5s on their AP exams. I customize tutoring for each student's learning style, interests, and pace. I provide tutoring, along with customized curriculum design. I paused my corporate IT career to homeschool my children in Fairfax County: one in elementary, the other from middle through high school.
