I have worked with children informally for the bulk of my life. I started volunteering in younger classrooms when I was in fifth grade (I read with first graders), and have continued working with children of all ages since. In high school I babysat many of my teacher's children. I also volunteered at the middle school after school program at this time, so tutoring is something I feel comfortable doing. As well, I have many young cousins whom I have cared for. Currently, I babysit some of my mother's children on occasion.
