About Victor

Hello, my name is Victor R. I was a tutor for many years until I finished college and began to take on leadership roles in organizations such as summer camps, recreation centers, and sports clubs. In the past I have worked as a teacher for a public college here in NYC where I taught original content to kids who attended a camp that took place there. Lately I have used my influence to deliver educational experiences in a holistic and personalized manner, meeting students "where they are", fostering habits and a mentality conducive to academic growth, and creating environments that help bring out the best in them. I am fond of making the bigger ideas usually reserved for late high school and college accessible and interesting to younger students. I have the most experience working with students in 5th to 9th grade, but I am open to working with students outside that range as well.
