My Academic/Vocational background includes a bachelor of science degree in Recreation (Exercise and Sports), 4 years of experience as an Assistant Director of a Summer Camp and an awarded Youth Coordinator position at a Recreation Center. I am certified by the Red Cross in Pediatric and Adult First-Aid/CPR/AED. I enjoy introducing youth to sports, adapting sports/games, taking long walks and engaging in activities that are conducive to good health, improved fitness, mobility, fine/gross motor skills, socialization, and a strong sense of personal agency and confidence. Working one-on-one, assisting, supporting, motivating and instructing someone over a longer period of time and witnessing them grow is an experience I find very rewarding. Summer/After-School hours are ideal.
