My name is Victoria. I have worked in pre-school's for over eight years. My brother-in-law has down syndrome. My husband and I often take him when he is in the mood to Universal Studios or out towards Hollywood, he enjoys seeing movie stars pictures. I would promise to keep him safe and be mindful of his feelings at all times.

I provided my daughter with this care giver's phone number. After several messages she finally called back. Made an appointment for an interview, then two hours before the interview she text'd my daughter to say she couldn't make it. Asked her to let us know when to reschedule and she never replied. I allow my daughter to make the contact as a part of the screening process (she's high functioning and capable). If you can't deal with a person with developmental disabilities setting up the initial interview, how well would you deal with them on the job? I also didn't appreciate the last minute notice as we rearranged our schedules to be home for the interview. Not seriously seeking, just fishing, in my opinion.
