Hello, my name is Victoria. Allow me to take this time to tell you a little about myself. I'm 54 yrs old but feel much much younger. I'm currently working for the Santa Clara county office of Education as a Paraeducator for OI Special needs post senior students. I've been in this field for almost three years. My Bachelor's degree is in the Criminal Justice field. But after realizing my personality, and compassion may not fit in that world, I began to rethink my career move. I had been a letter carrier for 25 yrs. In 2011, I was offered an early retirement offer. I accepted and decided to complete my degree and pursue a career I wanted. I completed my Bachelor's degree and so began the new chapter in my life. I've worked for the East side Union high School District as a Paraeducator with students who had various disabilities... including students with mild to severe Autism, learning and behavioral disabilities, Visually/hearing impaired, OI wheelchair bound students.
