I have been a nanny for the past few years, switching between full time and working around undergrad and graduate schoolwork. I have experience caring for infants, toddlers, school aged children, and middle schoolers. Through these jobs, I became very comfortable changing diapers, comforting upset children, telling stories, and making up games to keep children occupied. I also did light housework, some meal prep, and laundry for the families. I am very active and love the outdoors, so I really enjoy introducing kids I care for to these activities and taking them outside as much as possible. Between working as a nanny and teaching whitewater kayaking and rock climbing classes, I have learned to be very patient and caring while simultaneously guiding kids out of their comfort zone and challenging them. I have a 6-year-old pit bull mix who I love above all else, so I'm very comfortable with pets!

Tori is absolutely wonderful! She is a real gem: she loves kids, and it is reciprocal. My daughter loved her from the very beginning and had a lot of fun with her. As a parent, I cannot say how relieved I was to have found such a trustworthy and competent babysitter. Unfortunately, we had to move out of state in December so we couldn't keep Tori as our babysitter but if we had stayed we would have begged her to do even more hours for us. She really has a gift with kids. I highly recommend her!
