Since I was a child, I have always had at least one pet in my household, whether it be a cat, dog, fish, turtle, bird or gerbil. I've had pets who have required daily medication by mouth or injection. I've had experience with 3-week-old kittens who needed bottle feeding and stimulation in order to pee or deficate. I have a deep love and respect for all animals, and since I'm currently retired, I hope to work with animals in some capacity for the remainder of my life.
