I've been babysitting since middle school, and over the years I've developed a simple philosophy: What would I want to come home to if I were the parent? So whether I'm filling in for a night or supporting a family more consistently, I focus on keeping things tidy and making sure the kids feel cared for and engaged. I've worked with kids as young as 6 months and as old as 12. I'm comfortable with meal prep (including for allergies), household tasks, diaper changes- whatever makes your day run smoothly. I'm especially good at finding fun ways to keep kids engaged and resolving conflicts with grace. I've been told, "Our kids always have so much fun when you're here!" and I take pride in that. Kids thrive when someone gives them attention and joins their world- whether that's building a blanket fort, reading stories, or playing board games.
