I am looking for a family who respects my time, where we can have a healthy relationship with the kids. Vicentina (Carmen) has been a live-in nanny for World Bank employees in the DC area for 15+ years. We highly recommend her - she is dedicated to her work; energetic, playful and engaged with the children; very respectful and neat; and also helps with basic household cleaning/tidying up. She has extensive experience, having raised 8 children from newborn to high school. She has a special gift with newborns and toddlers but is great with all ages! She served as a live-in nanny for our daughter from 8-15 months of age. She formed a special bond with our daughter, who would always come running for a hug when Carmen started her work day. Carmen taught her important skills - sharing, singing, using utensils to eat, and of course, Spanish! Carmen is also very attentive and safety conscious. We ended our work with Carmen when we moved out of state. We wish her very well in her new role - any child would be lucky to have her.
