Hello. I am Veronica and I am looking for a full-time nanny position on the Peninsula. I have over 10 years of experience working as a nanny for infants, toddlers, and older children. I also have 3 grown children of my own. I absolutely love working with kids and helping them grow and learn. During regular times, I like to take kids to the park and to many other activities in the community. During COVID, I focus on long walks, lots of reading, and fun crafts and activities at home. I take COVID very, very seriously and am careful at my home and with the children I work with to make sure that everyone stays safe and healthy. I am a US citizen, experienced with CPR, and have my own car and insurance. I can also help with light housework and meal preparation. I speak English and Spanish. We've had the pleasure of working with Veronica from Fall 2021 - Summer 2023, during which time she cared for our son (now 3.5 years) and our daughter (now 1.5 years). She was working with us when our daughter was born and helped ease the transition from 1 to 2 kids. Veronica is calm, caring, safe and attentive. She drove our kids to various activities on the peninsula, prepared healthy meals for our kids, set up play dates, took the kids on adventures and was willing to help tidy and do laundry as long as the kids were asleep/resting. Overall, we would highly recommend Veronica as a nanny to a family with young children. We are sad to part ways with Veronica but our childcare needs have changed and we are no longer able to offer her the number of hours she needs to work.
