My name is Veronica, I am 28 years old and I currently work for the Santa Ana Unified School District in the Adult Transition Program as a paraprofessional for students who are severely disabled. The class where I work is called medically fragile, there I get to work with young adults between the ages of 17-23. I have gained so much knowledge working with my students while taking care of their needs like diapering, feeding via g-tube or just understanding how beautifully unique they are. Even though I currently work with young adults I did start working for the school district with 4th and 5th graders. I have also babysat babies as young as 4months up to 6years old, ever since I was in high school. I have a sister who is 11, and a brother who is 4 and living with them at home has definitely trained me well for the job. Not only that but my experience I've gained the past 5 years speak volumes. I am very caring and responsible. I always look forward into helping out :)
