About Verlane

I'm Verlane. I am a proud Chicago native who currently resides in North Carolina. I have been a nurse over 35 years with a vast experience with a wide range of areas. I enjoy reading, putting together puzzles, and traveling. Most people would describe me as very personable, dependable, patient, and nurturing. I have worked in long term care facilities for over 10 years. I have also worked in home health care as director of nursing, and I served as case manger for patients with chronic conditions. Working with elders is my passion. While I have also held positions in the cardiac catheter lab, the emergency room, and medical surgical units, I always find my way back to elder care. Working with elders fulfills me and brings me joy. I hope to work for a kind family who needs support. I hope to share that joy with your elder!
