About Venia

I'm an enthusiastic and whimsical recent college grad with a passion for working with kids! I graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, so I love all things science! I was a Girl Scout for 11 years, spending the last 5 of those years organizing and leading camps for younger scouts. I have worked as a summer camp counselor for kids ages 5 to 16, teaching them how to sail, paddle board, boogie board, and different lessons about marine science! From that, I received my Lifeguarding certification, as well as First Aid and CPR certifications. I'm a huge advocate for open communication, and am very comfortable with enforcing rules and safety, which is a huge priority for me.
