About Venessa

Hello! My name is Venessa! I have over 4 years of experience being a caregiver for the elderly. I am originally from Canada and moved to Massachusetts in 2022 for work. I work in the pharmaceutical biotech industry as a microbiologist. I have a bachelors degree in biochemistry. I am patient, bubbly, friendly, knowledgeable, and love talking with seniors! I love board games, TV, hiking, baking, and visiting new spots in the US. Experience: -Psycho-emotional care, companionship, and personal care for over 30 clients; examples include, range of motion exercise, lifting for transportation, bathing, dressing, grooming, bladder and bowel management, and cleaning sores. -Trained and managed other caregivers on caregiving and performed administrative tasks; such as, sending emails and scheduling. -Prepared and served meals, performed laundry, and provided housekeeping services -Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, quadriplegic, and general lack of mobility.
