I hired Venessa to watch my two girls (3 and 4 so a lot of energy!) She was only responsible for the children's needs, nothing else. She seemed confident during interview and promised an active experience. We both valued open and honest communication so I felt like it was the right fit. After two days she explained that "it was a lot" and that it was extremely hot outside wearing a mask. She was put off by a tantrum my THREE year old had (which I would have assumed anyone with experience would expect from a new three year old). She went on to say that between the stroller the mask and the heat, being "in the street was a lot". I figure if my toddlers can wear their masks an adult can look past its discomfort and see the bigger picture. It seemed all to overwhelm her and she confessed it was too much for her. Although I applaud her honesty, she left me in a huge pinch as I had just started a new job and was counting on her. Just disappointed and feel she is a better fit for a baby or a toddler that simply stays at home. She is kind, punctual and communicative but was definitely NOT the right fit for toddlers with energy and personality. Good luck!!!
