My first job was through my college career center. I worked as a nanny for over 2 yrs caring for twins, from the time that they were 8 mos old. Another aspect of my job as a nanny was light housekeeping that entailed laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and cleaning hardwood floors. I received my next job by recommendation from my first job. That was for 2 yrs and 11 mos at a church as a nursery worker with babies and toddlers. The children range from a month old to 5 yrs. I love being able to help children every day. I was also on call as a babysitter for families at my church, and for other people that recommended me after working for them. I cared for another set of twins from the time they were about 6 mos old for about 7 mos. They recommended me to the school they were entering the twins into. I work for them for about almost 3 yrs. I have since been working as a Childcare Supervisor for about 3 yrs. Right now I am a manager for Kids' Club in Kissimmee, FL. Hrs were cut because of ratio.
