About Vanessa

Hello, I am delighted to intuduce myself , my name is Vanessa. I enjoy hands on activities arts and crafts , reading, and sports. I worked assisting my older sister in her preschool class after highschool and then babysat for two of my very close friends while they attended college until their children were in school all day. I then decided to go to school specializing in geriactic care and have worked with elderly for 10+years now. I am down to earth and a little old fashioned in some ways my mom instilled in me manners , morals and values that have made me proud to be the woman I am today. I believe in a structured environment with positive redirection and a schedule creates a fun loving environment. I have 18 years of experience and knowledge in geriatric care. Nursing is where my heart is. One of my patients once told me " You don't realize how much of an impact one person can make on so many lives and thank you" that feeling is why nursing is my passion.
