About Vanessa

Hello! In 2020 I graduated with a B. S in Neuroscience from UCSB. While in undergrad, I volunteered at a brain injury support center where I helped run programming for individuals suffering from a traumatic brain injury. I also was a summer camp counselor for multiple years working with children ranging from 5-15 years old. Since I graduated, I have spent the last 3years working as a behavioral health tech at a psychiatric hospital and patient care tech on multiple sub-specialty floors at different local medical hospitals. During this time, I worked with patients ranging from just a few months old all the way to more than 100 years old! I consider myself highly experienced with adolescents and skilled in both behavioral/medical areas. Currently, I work as a medical assistant. In my spare time, I like to try new coffee shops and find new bookstores/books to read :)
